Parking in downtown Missoula can be a challenge with the current construction taking place but we are here to give you some tips to make getting to our downtown location a breeze. Whether you are heading downtown to do some holiday shopping or stopping to pick up your xc ski or snowshoe rental here are some ideas for you:
- Holiday Inn Hotel Parking Lot – for a dollar an hour you can pick up a ticket at the entry gate and pay on the way out with a card. It is super slick and will get you very close to the store.
- Parking in the structure on Front Street is free for the first hour but it can fill up during busy times. We recommend you try these two options first.
Paid parking hours are enforced 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, except Federal Holidays. We recommend two locations to try.

- On-street digital parking meters are found on each block throughout Downtown Missoula – look for the yellow ‘Pay Parking Here’ signs for the nearest digital parking meter. You will need your license plate number to pay for on-street parking. The digital parking meters accept coins, Visa, MasterCard, and Downtown Missoula Gift Cards.
- Download the Passport Parking app on your mobile device and pay for Downtown parking from anywhere you have your mobile device. You can store multiple license plates and payment information to quickly and easily park, pay and be on your way.
