If you have never been to Glacier National Park you are really missing out. The diversity of flora and fauna, the ability to go from lake to peak in the same day, it truly is a treasure in our back yard. The folks at the Glacier National Park Fund work tirelessly to preserve the beauty and wildness of GNP for generations to come. They do this by raising public awareness and encouraging private philanthropy.

Since 1999, the Glacier National Park Fund has distributed over $3 million for projects devoted to wildlife, natural resource conservation, park preservation, educational programs and visitor experience.

The GNPF holds a number of fundraisers around the country called Touch Of Glacier. There will be a Touch Of Glacier fundraiser here in Missoula at the Flathead Lake Brewing Co. on Monday September 17th at 6:00 P.M. For every pint sold between 5 and 11 FLBC will donate $1 to the Glacier National Park Fund.

The GNPF is excited to introduce Jake Bramante’s presentation Hike 734, an ambitious project in which Jake hiked all 734 miles of documented trails in GNP in one summer!

Come see Jake’s presentation and have a pint to support the Crown Jewel of the Northern Rockies.
