First Night Missoula

Thursday, December 31st, 2015, 11AM-12AM

Cost: $15 Per Button

Experienced First Nighters agree it’s a good idea to review your program before setting out and deciding which acts to see. Look at the map and determine where the venue is located. Planning a route is next, whether walking or using the free First Night buses, which have shuttles running every 15 minutes between downtown and the university campus.

First Night sets are one hour in length; performers have been asked to end their shows on time so you’ll have ample time to get to the next venue. Plan to arrive promptly–seating is on a first-come-first-served basis, and is limited to fire code capacities. Advanced reservations cannot be made for any performance and it is advisable to make several “back-up” choices. With over 80 performances and activities, there are plenty of events for everyone to enjoy.

First Night 2015 begins with the Children’s Parade of Hats at Southgate Mall at 1:00 p.m., followed by countless performances and other events throughout Downtown and the University of Montana campus. The Midnight Grand Finale in the Ballroom and UC Commons features the Ed Norton Big Band and The Drum Brothers.
