This tune job brings the ski back to as close to factory new as is possible
All base damage is repaired, (major repairs cost extra) Major repairs would be like broken edges or multiple major base welds.
The skis are first ground on a belt to determine extend to base repair, then the bases are filled in using a variety of tools and techniques depending on damage location and size
After base repair the skis are run over the stone grinder to flatten and structure the base
Then the edges are ground on a side edger and hand finished to the factory recommended base and edge bevel, using a variety of diamond stones to achieve a smooth sharp finish. The Bases are then thoroughly cleaned and waxed using a high quality base wax and then scrapped and re waxed with a temp appropriate wax. The skis are then scrapped and buffed using a roto brush to create the fastest base possible.
