Cold Smoke Winter Film Tour

Now in its 10th year, the Coldsmoke Winter Film Tour has become a time honored tradition in the winter culture. A time to gather the tribe around the neon fire, reconnect with old friends, rekindle the stoke through film and story telling, and raise a glass to the most sacred of seasons. This is Coldsmoke...and it's coming to you.

The festivities rolls into Missoula, MT on Monday, November 17th at the Top Hat Lounge. A hand-crafted selection of films submitted to Coldsmoke Winter Film will be showcased on the big screen. Films from psychedelic action epics like Sweetgrass Productions "Afterglow" to exploratory high desert ice climbing ascents in 3 Strings Productions “Desert Ice” and more story based short films like "The Little Things” will grace the Coldsmoke screen. From skiing and snowboarding to ice climbing and snowmobiling, Coldsmoke Winter Film has it all.

Everyone who attends will have the chance to win a Canadian Cat Skiing Trip for 2 at Powder Mountain and $1000 CASH to help get you there. Big Sky Resort is shelling out 2 for 1 lift ticket vouchers and we’re serving drink specials on Big Sky Brews.

Coldsmoke Winter Film works, shreds and celebrates with purpose through partnerships with organizations and businesses dedicated to the future of mountain society. ALL the proceeds from the evening's raffle will go to the West Central Montana Avalanche Foundation. Regional avalanche education and advisories are an invaluable (and often under-funded) resource to winter enthusiasts. These centers serve as the literal lifeline to our backcountry community, and their forecasters are the unsung heroes of winter. Through initiatives like this, we hope to make Missoula and the winter culture in West Central Montana a safer place. Raffle tickets are 3 for $5 or an arm's length for $20 (any arm's length!). Prizes include Coldsmoke Apparel, lift ticket vouchers, sunnies and more.
