A HUGE THANK YOU!!!!
I wanted to send out a HUGE and belated thank you to the Missoula community for making our 9th Annual Women’s Night a great success!! Even though we are still tabulating the numbers, it appears that we have raised more money this year than last year for our two outstanding beneficiaries – the Breast Cancer Fund and Partnership Health Center ~ Cancer Screening Fund, upwards of $5,000!!! Providing financial support to these organizations is important to us because we feel like we are getting the best of both worlds. Nationally, the Breast Cancer Fund works tirelessly on important issues like removing BPA from commonly used household products and reminding the government how important it is to keep toxic chemicals out of commonly used health and beauty products. Locally, Partnership Health Center ~ Cancer Screening Fund helps our neighbors receive life saving cancer screening that they normally could not afford.
While I’m at it – I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our local sponsors for helping us make this event possible – Pearl Café, The Holiday Inn Parkside, Momentum Athletic Training, Red Bird Restaurant & Wine Bar, Big Sky Brewing, Daphne Lorna, Faux Pink and the fabulous Deb Demmons – thank you, thank you, thank you!! No great event goes off like this one does with out a great team of volunteers and our amazing Trail Head staff – a HUGE thank you to them for the heavy lifting, long hours and excellent customer service.
