Thank you for using the MissoulaAvalanche.org website for your outdoor winter pursuits. WCMAF is dedicated to promoting avalanche safety education and awareness by providing information to all interested user groups regarding terrain, weather and snow conditions that contribute to avalanche danger in West Central Montana. As you know we have increased our forecasts to twice a week last season, allowing winter enthusiasts to get more information on the regional forecasts for avalanche activity and snowpack history.
The foundation needs your help to continue to provide these informative and consistent reports on the regional snowpack. Please consider a tax deductible donation to the foundation as a gift to a snow rider friend for the holiday, in memory of someone that enjoyed the backcountry, or as a “user fee” if you rely on the website to help you determine your area of winter adventure.
