So far this spring we have had a great boating season, at least from a fishing perspective. Local rivers fished as well this spring pre runoff, as they have in years. Runoff this year looks to be measured in weeks not months of unfishable water. I have been spending some time driving around the state with the kids for soccer and I have had the chance to look at a number of rivers in the past couple of weeks.
Based on what I saw Saturday on the Clark Fork
above town, looks like runoff is almost over.
